New snow with wind will create small unstable storm slabs in lee areas. Wet loose avalanches in south and west facing slopes are expected when the sun comes out.

You can trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Mandag formiddag var det nedbør og stigande temperatur som fukta snødekket høgt til fjells. Over mildvêrsgrensa blåste nysnøen inn i nordvendte leformasjonar. Det ligg mest snø i leheng mot nord og aust. Det er lite snø for årstida, og under tregrensa er det lite snø.

Kantkornlag djupt i snødekket frå kuldeperioden i februar kan framleis vere eit problem nokre stadar høgt til fjells over 13-1400 moh.

No precipitation. Breeze from north. -10 °C to -1 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Nysnøen høgt til fjells stabiliserer seg, men skikøyrarar kan framleis løyse ut skred i bratte heng. I nord- og skyggesider kan nysnøflaka vere ustabile. Der sola bryt gjennom skydekket kan soloppvarming føre til at skred løsnar i sørvendte bratte heng. Der snødekket var fuktig vil det fryse og stabilisere seg når vêret vert kjøligare.

Høgt til fjells kan det i enkelte heng framleis vere svakt lag av kantkorn djupt i snødekket. Men det er lite sannsynleg at laget framleis er eit aktuelt skredproblem.
